Cupcake Vineyards 2005 Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon Review

For a light, delicious and easy drinking red wine try Cupcake Vineyards 2005 Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon (California). A bargain that rivals some of the Sterling Vineyards (Napa) Reserves.

Do air it out in a duck decanter or similar and serve in a proper Cabernet glass (pictured & available at World Market). Don't be a heathen and swig off the bottle. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled (61 degrees). Drink at one setting.

Nice layers of sinful dark fruit with a subtle toasty oak that has a velvety silk finish. Goes great with a warm baked brie drizzled with honey, Dove dark chocolate & strawberries dusted with pure Hawaiian cane sugar or a petite Filet Mignon.
