Sterling Vintners Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Central
Coast 2006 Review
Sterling Vintners Collection
Cabernet Sauvignon Central Coast 2006.
On the
nose nice blackberry, cherry & dark fruits with a hint of
vanilla oak, spice and a touch of earthy
mineralality.
On the palate bright fruit
forward with soft tannins and acidity. Short nice finish mellow
heat (alcohol) going down.
A very drinkable mellow
Cabernet at a great price. About $12
The texture is full, rich, and
soft in the mouth, making it a great match with classic beef
dishes, duck confit, assorted cheeses, and dark
chocolate.
We paired this with blackened
rib eyes, oven roast potato's with bacon & onions. A
horesradish cream chese dipping sauce ofr the steaks. It paired
very well.
Around the web it recieves
many "I really like it" reviews.
The Frugal Wino gives
it a Two Thunbs up & a Do Buy!
The second day it went well
sipping poolside after cutting the grass.
